We embrace CrossFit as the foundation of the majority of our group training classes at The Tribe. We believe that CrossFit has developed a beautiful combination of weightlifting, gymnastics and conditioning to truly push athletes to test their limits and have a blast doing it with their Tribe.
However, we believe that we’ve created a unique brand with 3F CrossFit at The Tribe. We allow for our members to have a bit more input on the specific goals that they might have.
Here’s how our classes work:
•As a class, we complete a general and specific warm-up that prepares our athletes for the day’s workout
•For Part I of the workout, our athletes have a choice between Strength, Performance and Conditioning workouts. Each workout will go on at the same time and will focus on the same muscle groups and movement types. However, an athlete choosing strength will be working at near maximal weights whereas an athlete choosing conditioning will be working at much lighter or even bodyweight for a more low-impact style workout. Performance would fall in between the two and might also focus on specific technique work.
• We come back together as a class for Part II and complete a WOD together. Our coaches make sure that if any member requires modification that there is a clear understanding of how that workout will be modified.
